Dirty Laundry

From all the pet peeves I have, the one in top of the list is going to the Laundromat. I gather all my dirty clothes and put them in the car this morning, and after I got out of work. I when to the coins washing machines close to home. Lucky for me, the place was almost empty.

This past Christmas my washer took a dump (broke). I knew this was going to happen sooner or later, since it stared to make some weird noises. The belt underneath broke and along with it other components.

Finding the parts was no challenge at all.  These days everything you heart desire is just at your finger tips and a few clicks of the mouse.

I order the parts from a webpage store referred to me by my favorite Internet Search Engine: YAHOO!. The parts took around four days to arrive and when I was ready to install them, I realize the task was more than could handle (at least for the time been). So! Like a good procrastinator that I’m. I add this task to my very long TO-DO JOBS list.

For now I have to just keep visiting my local Laundromat and washing my dirty laundry in public.Embarassed

Braking Up is Hard TO DO

Getting back to the daily routine is hard some times, especially after some vacations of doing whole lots of nothing.

There is a long “TO DO” list that I just have not been able to get around to JUST DO IT, and I have to admit it; I’m a procrastinator. I have so many useless treasures (trash) laying all around my room and the house that one day my picture will one of those magazines you see at the check out lane of the groceries store. I have the bad habit of collecting items thinking some day all of them will be worth tons of money. But for now they are just collecting dust and wasting precious space. Yes! My dust collection is so extent and for me is invaluable. Unfortunately this is one of the items in my list that I have to deal with it. Getting rid of them don’t look as easy as the way I acquirer them. Not just because the economic factor but the sentimental too.

I also have an old Chevy truck that die on me long time ago and I kept it because I became to attach to that pile of rust. I remember the day I my old rusty took the last breath. I vow one day to fix it and we will be together again just like those days we both were one and rulers of the road. Right! That day has not come at all and for the looks of my list, it will not come any time soon.

Well. I guess I can still add more things to my list since there is a lot easier to add than subtract.Frown

Time Fly When You Having Fun.

I can believe Monday is over and along with it my short vacations. Christmas and the New Year are gone and is time to come back to the usual daily routine of getting up in the morning to clock in and out to make money to pay the bills. The good part is that this week will be a short one (So will be my check).

Today has been very cloudy and rainy out side and according to the weather man; things don’t look very good for this coming week. I when out just to make some small purchases and rent couple of movies (Kill Bill I & II Parts). I also when to the store to return a web cam I purchase a few day ago. It turn out this web-cam was not as good as the package clame to be.

I spend the rest of the afternoon watching the movies since was not much to do. The weather out side is cold and windy and had no desire to live the comfort of my bed.

Well. Let’s see what this New Year brings to all of us.

Happy New Year

The New Year came to me in the solitude of my home watching the ball drop and enjoying some shrimp, vegetables and some none-alcoholic sparkling red wine.

When I got up I went to my favorite discount book store which had New Year sales special. (Fifty percent discount to be exact).the great selection and variety of books and topics in the shelves and tables was just immense. I turn my focus towards my favorite topic; Computers. I lost of track of time will I was looking to so many books about computers, networks, graphics, and programming to mention some. I pick up seven books about macromedia and video editing. Will I was there glancing, I came to realize that I was way out of date just like some of the books I was purchasing.

I came home and before I sit-down and start to enjoying my New Year presents, I wanted to get rid of one of the task I should have done last year: Clean up my fish tank.

My aquarium size holds ten gallons of water and is just perfect for my three guppies, two crabs, a bottom feeder and some snails. Cleaning it up was not much work besides for the small snails which got stock on the water pump and force me to take it apart and perform some small maintenance.

After I took a bite of one of the specialties of yours truly kitchen, I finally sit down and read how to make some flash movies. Wow! This is harder than what I thought.

Well! I have this brand new year and these books to keep me busy for a while.Laughing
